Christmas Outfits!

Now that I’ve shown ya some great Christmas decor it’s time for some clothes!

Lemania has this beautiful gown out today for $1L in the gift section of the store.  After about 11 a.m. tomorrow she’ll move it to the changing room for 7 days then POOF.. gone forever!  Soooo pretty!

A friend took me to Thalia’s a few months ago and I went nuts and spent all the cash I had that night.  If you’re looking for something sexy this is THE place to go!  Not only has she brought back some Christmas outfits for $50L there is also one on the MM boards(hurry, it gets filled fast!) and a lucky Santa with yet another great outfit.  The clothing is wonderful and the prices won’t drive ya to bankruptcy!  In addition there is a red tag sale going on!  Every red tagged item is just $55L per color. Can’t beat that deal!

I got one of the beautiful CSRs to model her favorite outfit. A big thank you to Chelse Cooperstone for taking the time to help me out.  Isn’t she sexy in this little number?

I Love Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!

Despite Christmas becoming too commercialized I still love it so wanted to show you a few things from a couple of my favorite stores.

Brat is a wonderful place that usually has houses, stores and even some playground equipment(all of which I love!) and they recently opened their Christmas store.  Such cute stuff!  It’s creative and well textured and did I mention cute? Oh yeah, I did but it’s worth saying twice.  They also have a lucky santa and MM board!  The pictures show the current prizes.  I highly recommend this store for some cozy Christmas seating or that perfect little cottage!

Next store is New Trails.  Everyone had their pumpkins around at Halloween for good reason and now they’ve moved on to Christmas! Yay!  The creations here have a unique look and style that is to die for!  I’m hoping to save up enough to get the color change tree for my little skating rink setup but for now i’ve settled for two smaller potted trees..Istill love them!  Go take a look and find your favorites!  It’s also a great sim to just hang around and relax. Very well done.

Last on my must visit list(for now) is MB Creationz.  I wish I could have put in pictures of all their Christmas decor but I’d run out of room.  Again, LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!  How cute are those cats?  Don’t forget to pick up the group gift(pictured below) while your there.  It’s perfect in my little Christmas spot!

I’d be failing a great designer if I didn’t mention her sale going on right now.  Simone has turned FIVE!  That’s like 50 in RL years!  To celebrate Simone is having a color a day sale on both the Style Starts Here and Simone sims.  Today is red day so I’ve got to run and pick up all the red I couldn’t afford last week!  No idea what tomorrows color is but for goodness sake check!  Everything that is the color of the day is 75L on the ssh sim and 150L on Simone!   Not going to admit how much I’ve spent there the last few weeks but……Go just go. Go now!  FYI: The outfit i’m wearing in the picture of the MB Gift is Santa’s Helper.   Can be found near the dance floor on the SSH Sim.

New stuff and freebies at Poetic Eyes and Kusshon

I’m back!  Been gone way too long and don’t really have an excuse other than I’ve been busy with other things.  Life has calmed down a bit so I’m back to the blog!

What better way to start off than some freebies?!

First is the new freebie from Poetic eyes.  Owner Lano Ling has made yet another set of beauties!  I just can’t say enough about these eyes.  Simply the best on the grid.  In celebration of the release of the new Fairy Tail eyes is the Christmas Fairy Eye free in the store right now.  All the sets come in the light and dark versions for the good and evil in you.  Also right outside the door of the store is a pack of eyes for players under 30 days old.

Horrible, just horrible

     Hello again everyone!  I was sitting around today and relised it’s been way too long since my last post.  As does happen real life got busy and I’ve been totally uninspired to do much of anything. Maybe i’m doing too much.

     I promise I’ll be better in the future…My better half is back from his vacation so that’s helped my mood considerably. 

    Later on today I’ll gather up the info on some, actually a lot, of upcoming hunts for ya and a freebie store that totally surprised me by having some pretty decent stuff.  Right now I must get back to making my basket of tribbles for the sci fi hunt…

Not Much Today…

Yeah for SL!!!  Today had to be the worst day in sl since the huge, think it was a week long, outage a little over a year ago.  Most of the regions have been offline at one time or another and more just went down now so they could fix more things.  I’m not a super tech person but since computers are complicated things can go seriously wrong very quickly.  I’m inclined to cut Linden Labs some slack since they are working with a hugely complex system.  Just glad I’m not the one who has to fix it. 

I was going to give ya a post on the hair fair but ummmmmm….no.  The lag is overwhelming and even taking pictures was impossible.  The best advice I can give everyone is to just wait a while before attempting to go.  If you really can’t wait to take a look at the stuff there just go to the blog I posted yesterday(http://seqspot.blogspot.com/2009/06/hair-fair-slurls.html) and visit the stores themselves(if you can).

Since I can’t do much in world tonight I’ll just leave ya with some cartoons.

My rant for the day…

MINIVANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Anyone who knows me also knows of my all consuming hatred for the minivan.  Oh let me list why…

1.  Ugly. Need I say more about this?

2.  Can’t see around them at all.

3.  Their drivers!  Stay in your own lane, get off the cell phone, go the damn speed limit, and for gods sake stop hitting the brakes.  Whatever adorable little trick Johnny has learned can you can wait to oooo and ahhh over until you get home.

4.  No Gentleman.  You’ll never be cool in the van. Give it up.

5.  If the scooter behind you is tailgating, take the damn hint.  (It’s probably me so just get your ass off the road, some people have lives to get back to)

6. Those stupid little stick figure stickers, sports teams stickers, my kid is an honor role student stickers, hell, stickers period.  Nobody cares and makes you look like an even bigger dufus.  I’ve got 5 kids and boxes full of those stupid stickers.  Do you care? NOOOOOOOOO Nobody does so cut it out.  Makes it harder to see out the back window anyhow. 

7.   Speaking of blocking your view..take all that crap off your rear view mirror while your at it. 

8.  Park in the lines.  If the vehicle is too big for your Witty bitty self get a smaller car. (This also works for you idiots driving suvs and trucks that never get used like a truck should.  Drive a truck?  Man up.)

9.  Do you have no depth perception?  What’s up with the stopping 3 car lengths away from the car in front of you or the stop line on the road?  Maybe it’s time you get a mini cooper…

Now I know not every minivan driver is like this, just most of you.  Get mad at me, get over it…then pay attention to the road..
