Yes, this is gift day four at Adiva and this is what we got!  Beautiful little swingy dress just right for kicking up your heels!  The advent calendar has changed though and it’s no longer up in the store.  To receive the gifts you have to be a group member($250L to join) and you’ll get them each day!  Well worth the cost ladies so just do it.

Alienbear Beautiful

 

Since sl has been a little bratty lately I’m slow on getting the new jewelry from Alienbear posted for you but here it is.  It’s really hard to get the true beauty of the pieces to show up in my pictures since i’m a pretty lousy photographer but trust me, they sparkle! 

The first set is the Azucena.  I had to de-neko to get all the pieces in the shot but it was well worth it.  I’m just sad that I can’t wear the earrings with my neko ears.  I guess that will have to wait until the sl viewer has as many attachment points as Emerald does.  Let’s just say if I use the ear 2 attach points the earrings  show up somewhere below the waist when seen with the sl viewer..not good.  But trust me, the pieces from Alienbear are the highest quality you’ll find in all of Secondlife.

 

The necklace in the third picture is the new Alienbear release “Queen Poseiva”.  At just $400L it’s more than worth a trip to the store!  Also pictured are a free set of earrings that you can pick up while your there called “AlienbearXAgnes”.  Simple, elegant, AND FREE!  Can’t beat that deal!  If you’ve never been to this wonderful designers shop you should take some time to look around.  The whole store is filled with jewelry goodness and there is something for everyone.

I was just getting ready to log off and go to bed when the message came through in group chat that Annejoy Paine, the wonderful owner of Adiva, had just put out an advent calendar with a new freebie every day until Christmas. Todays gift is a gorgeous jeans, sweater and jacket outfit.  You have to join the group and wear the tag to get the gifts every day.  There is a fee to join but it’s well worth it considering the perks.  This gifted designer is always generous with gifts, hunts, a weekly reduced gown, and a rewards vendor.

Hair Fair 2009 Starts Tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!

Been looking forward to Hair Fair almost the minute last years ended!   Doors(or should I say sim) opens at midnight tonight, SL midnight that is.  I’m going to steer ya to the most excellent Sequoia Nightfire’s Blog.  She’s got a full list of the vendors  and slurls to their locations on the sims.  Didn’t think it would be just one little sim did ya?  Here’s the addy for Sequoias post on the hair fair.  http://seqspot.blogspot.com/2009/06/hair-fair-slurls.html  Be sure to leave her a comment and say thank you.  It takes tons of work to get all thoses slurls posted and there are a TON of them in the post.

  A few quick lag reducing tips.  While keeping the number of prims your wearing down(some less powerful machines aren’t able to draw them as fast as others) take off all your radars, poofers, listeners, all the huds you can get away with(I’ve seen how many some of you have!)  since huds and radars and the like take up sim resources. Oh, almost forgot..ya know when your out and about and all of a sudden your walking in place?  Ya, someone around you has their maximum bandwidth turned up.  Keep it down folks. (This is under prefs-network.  Just leave it, or turn it down to 500)  Other than that go have fun, shop till ya drop!

Lemanias has moved!  This might be old news by now but Lemania has opened a brand spankin’ new sim.  I had the chance to run over there and check the new store and mall out.  I really enjoy the was she’s laid things out here.  Looking for a black dress? Just go to the “black” section.  Dresses and outfits are sorted by color so it’ll be really easy to find the one your looking for.  Open and airy, this new store is a joy to browse.  Do yourself a favor and go check it out.  Also, because of all the moving the June Bug Hunt is still on but has been delayed until the 13th.

Next, last night got a note card from DV8 that said they were having a $1L “terrorbot” hunt.  If you’ve never been to DV8 before they carry latex goth wear, boots, hair and other assorted goodies.  You’ll be looking for the little, and I do mean little, black robots hidden around the store.  They are filled with hair, clothes, boots, and other things.  20 in all to find.

First up is the Miss Universe gown from Blackberries.  This store has tons of beautiful gowns!  As a matter of fact I own quite a few of them and they never fail to get compliments.  Great colors, flowing fabrics, and terrific styles.  This one is a beautiful blue with a sparkle top that is to die for! I highly recommend a trip to get a few of the outfits for your next evening out.  This lovely can be found on the back wall of the store.

Here’s a wonderful choker by one of my favorite jewelers in sl.  Dryad doesn’t use any of that annoying, blinding bling.  Instead she concentrates on detail and texture.  Earrings do come with this set.  I just haven’t gotten around to adding them to my ears.  That’s another thing  I love about her jewelry.  I CAN ADD IT TO MY EARS!!!!  Neko ears are famous for being impossible to add to on your own because of permissions. I lucked out when I found Dryads store for sure.  This one is part of her “Under the Sea” set.

The last store for tonight is Lemaina’s.  First is the 1L retiring design “Dragon”.  Comes with a scarf (not shown, I’m not huge fan of scarves)  Absolutely beautiful!  Second is Lemaina’s entry in the Through The Looking Glass hunt which begins at midnight tonight (my store Cat Tracks also has a little gift for ya!)  If the entries for this hunt are as great as this dress is I just might get out there and do the hunt.  Alright enough!  Here’s the pics!

Happy Sunday!

As usual started out my sl day by heading over to Lemania Indigo to see what new goodies shes put out for the day.  The group is totally worth joining since you get discounts, freebies, oh just all kinds of cool things…

Today retiring design is Falling Bird. I was a little skeptical about the outfit from the picture but once I got it home and put it on I love it!  Even the wings(included) are cute.    As usual the retiring designs are just 1L and they change every day so you can always pick up a beautiful outfit for almost nothing!

What is an “Anti” Neko you ask? I am..even in the outcast neko world I’m different.  Little  to no grunge..I love my ballgowns, cute dresses, shoes, PINK!  Did I mention the shoes?  I have a total shoe fetish… Not to mention I totally lack the usual neko attitude.  I’m the “Anti” Neko neko(a term given to me by a dear friend)
